Bead & Button 2011

I was so lucky to be able to attend Bead & Button this year.  I hope to attend many more.  I don't get many classes up here, so I took several.

I took a lampworking class which was taught by Hayley Tsang.  It was a fascinating class taught by an enthusiastic and caring instructor.  I got a couple of wonderful beads out of it using the fascinating reduction glasses.  The glass turns wonderful colors when heat is applied carefully.  Visit Hayley's site to see some of her amazing work:  http://envisionsf.com/

I also took a couple of wireworking classes, a resin class, and an exciting beadwork class.  The latter was taught by Judy Walker.  It was a class on how to bead three spheres, a small inside a medium and both inside a larger one.  Her work is geometric and fascinating.  Her web page is here: http://www.walkerpublications.com

I can't wait to finish this one.  I also bought her paper-clip loom, a no-warps method of looming, and I can't wait to make one of Judy's patterns.
